Hello, my name is Emalia Turi. I am a video artist from the Pacific Northwest.

I grew up on Vashon Island, Washington, and in 2019 I attained my BA in film production from Hofstra University. There I enjoyed classes in editing, cinematography, lighting design, film theory, film and mass media history, and internship opportunities for production companies such as Big Beach, Symbolic Exchange, and Departure films.

I just finished four years of work in marketing asset creation for PetWise brands, deepening my skills in Adobe software and brand storytelling.

During this time I fell in love with climbing and the North Cascades, which sparked an interest in video and photo asset creation for mountain sports.

I’m seeking employment in the social media asset creation space, looking to support creatives and brands with media editing services or shooting original content on my personal setup (Sony).
